Volleyball Recap: Desmet Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

DeSmet won the last time they faced Flandreau and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fliers.

Flandreau's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nora Hamilton, who had six digs and four aces, and Addy Hammer, who had 13 digs. Hammer has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

DeSmet has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Flandreau, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

DeSmet didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Sioux Valley on the 20th. As for Flandreau, they will head out on the road to take on McCook Central/Montrose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
