Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Takes a Loss

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thornton Trojans. If Mountain Range were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Thornton when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mountain Range's goal came courtesy of Anthony Escalera, who's now up to two this season.

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Thornton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Mountain Range wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Northglenn on the 30th. As for Thornton, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Adams City on the 26th.
