Baseball Preview: St. John's Bluejays vs. Versailles Tigers
The St. John's Bluejays are taking a road trip to face off against the Versailles Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Versailles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
St. John's came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against St. Henry, falling 8-1. The Bluejays have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Matt Subler was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Monnin, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Versailles has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for St. John's, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
