Soccer Recap: McKinney North Takes a Loss

McKinney North managed to keep up with Lovejoy until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The McKinney North Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Lovejoy Leopards. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

McKinney North's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Lovejoy, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

McKinney North will face off against Walnut Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lovejoy, they will square off against Melissa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
