Soccer Game Preview: Central DeWitt vs. Western Dubuque

Central DeWitt will face off against the Western Dubuque Bobcats on Friday. Central DeWitt will be strutting in after a victory while Western Dubuque will be coming in after a loss.

Central DeWitt's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Clinton. The result was nothing new for Central DeWitt, who have now won six contests by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Western Dubuque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to Linn-Mar. While losing is never fun, Western Dubuque can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Linn-Mar are ranked 16th).

Central DeWitt's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Western Dubuque, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
