Softball Game Preview: Lemont Lemont HS vs. Edwardsville Tigers

The Lemont Lemont HS will square off against the Edwardsville Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lemont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Lemont had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Blue Island Eisenhower on Thursday. The Lemont HS put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 16-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lemont HS in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won eight in a row.
