Owensboro is 9-1 against Ohio County since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Owensboro came out on top against Apollo on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Red Devils were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Red Devils have posted against the Eagles since May 7, 2019.

Meanwhile, Ohio County can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Edmonson County 11-4. The Eagles not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 15-0).

Nolan Baize was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Ohio County is undefeated when Baize posts two or more runs, but 2-11 otherwise. Maddox Mason was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Ohio County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Owensboro's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Ohio County, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-11.

Owensboro took their win against Ohio County in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-2 score. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
