Soccer Recap: Jesup Extends Winning Streak to Six

Jesup had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Central DeWitt with a sharp 6-2 win. The result was nothing new for Jesup, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

Jesup's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matchups. As for Central DeWitt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Jesup has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against North Scott on the 30th. Central DeWitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
