Volleyball Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler's tournament run continued when they took on Cape Henry Collegiate on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Dolphins by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katie Grimm paced Tyler's offense, picking up 11 kills. Grimm got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 23 assists. Finally, Kayli West kept Tyler's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Tyler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Avonworth on the 13th. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hickory on the 13th.
