Macks Creek had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They breezed by the Iberia Rangers to the tune of 68-37. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-13.

Macks Creek had a senior duo take command as India Willis dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards and Addison Ratliff went 7 of 10 from beyond the arc on her way to 25 points along with seven boards and five assists. That's the most points Ratliff has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Duggan, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and three blocks.

Macks Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Iberia only racked up five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Iberia lost, don't look at Chloe Edwards. Despite the final result, she had 13 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Acelyn Bauer, who put up eight points.

Macks Creek pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Iberia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Macks Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-30 win against North Shelby on the 13th. As for Iberia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-28 victory against Versailles on the 13th.
