Softball Recap: Sage Creek Victorious

Sage Creek won the last time they faced Helix and things went their way on Saturday too. Sage Creek came out on top against Helix by a score of 6-2.

The team relied heavily on Lola Carson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Gonsalves, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Sage Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Sage Creek now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Helix, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Sage Creek will welcome Mt. Carmel at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Helix, they will challenge West Hills at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st.
