Softball Recap: Morristown Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Morristown's offense. They came up short against the Triton Central Tigers on Saturday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Yellow Jackets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Morristown has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Triton Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Coincidentally, Morristown and Triton Central will both be playing Waldron the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Mohawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Yellow Jackets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
