Basketball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a blow against the Clarke County Eagles, falling 62-32. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 83-62 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Stonewall Jackson's record is now 1-17. As for Clarke County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stonewall Jackson and Madison County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Clarke County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Page County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Page County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three games.
