Baseball Recap: East Longmeadow Takes a Loss

East Longmeadow lost against Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 9-1. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for East Longmeadow and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Longmeadow and Central will both be playing Northampton the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Eagles will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
