Basketball Game Preview: Cross Stingrays vs. John Paul II Golden Warrriors

The Cross Stingrays just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the John Paul II Golden Warrriors at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cross has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 9.

On Tuesday, Cross came up short against Thomas Heyward Academy and fell 50-43.

Meanwhile, John Paul II narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Laurence Manning Academy 45-43.

Cross' loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for John Paul II, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Cross took a serious blow against John Paul II in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 73-18. Can Cross avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
