Woodridge is 9-1 against Springfield since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Woodridge Bulldogs will host the Springfield Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Woodridge is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Woodridge came up short against Cloverleaf and fell 38-30. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Colts are ranked 246th).

Meanwhile, Springfield was beaten by Norton 53-18 on Tuesday. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Springfield and nudges their season record down to 8-12. As for Woodridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Woodridge came up short against Springfield in their previous meeting back in January, falling 47-40. Can Woodridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
