Recap: Hyndman Charter School Hornets vs. Blacklick Valley Vikings
This season hasn't been kind to the Hyndman Charter School Hornets, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a serious blow against Blacklick Valley on Wednesday, falling 73-40. Hyndman Charter School lost against Blacklick Valley in their previous head to head last Thursday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 77-31 score last time.
Alex Reba was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points for Blacklick Valley. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Brown, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Hyndman Charter School's defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Blacklick Valley, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Hyndman Charter School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forbes Road at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024. As for Blacklick Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Salisbury Elk Lick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
