Baseball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Rams vs. Columbus Torah Academy Lions
Whitehall-Yearling had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Columbus Torah Academy Lions 10-4.
The team relied heavily on Jacob Leach, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Gavin Strickler, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and two RBI.
Whitehall-Yearling will head out on the road to square off against Wellington School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbus Torah Academy, they will face off against Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus Torah Academy will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
