Softball Game Preview: East Brunswick Vo-Tech vs. Piscataway Chiefs

East Brunswick Vo-Tech will challenge the Piscataway Chiefs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for East Brunswick Vo-Tech and 14 for Piscataway dating back to last season.

Perth Amboy hit East Brunswick Vo-Tech with a five-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. East Brunswick Vo-Tech took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Perth Amboy.

Imane Pasteur stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those hits were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Young, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

East Brunswick Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Piscataway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
