Soccer Recap: Genoa Area Comes Up Short

If Genoa Area was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Evergreen on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets came up short against the Archbold Blue Streaks on Tuesday, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Genoa Area were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Gavin Goodman, who's now up to 12 this season.

With the loss, Genoa Area broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for Archbold, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
