Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Comes Up Short

Pflugerville Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Pflugerville Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Aniya Toney paced Pflugerville Connally's offense, picking up 11 kills. Toney got some help from Caroline Benge and her 12 assists. Zilda Kouaye Tchuitcham controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pflugerville Connally's loss dropped their record down to 5-29. As for Pflugerville, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 13-24.

Coincidentally, Pflugerville Connally and Pflugerville will both be playing East View the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
