Softball Recap: Dora Coyotes vs. Loving Falcons
Dora had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-10 to make it 13. They lost 23-1 to the Loving Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 28-0 defeat on Tuesday.
As for Loving, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.
For Loving's part, Braylee Hunt made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Hunt has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
