Basketball Game Preview: Chisum Mustangs vs. Rains Wildcats

Chisum is 1-9 against Rains since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chisum Mustangs will host the Rains Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Chisum came up short against Lone Oak and fell 62-52.

Meanwhile, Rains entered their tilt with Prairiland on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 80-27 win over the Patriots. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Rains' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.8 points. As for Chisum, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
