Creekside came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 47-43 victory over the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Creekside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nolan Nelson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Nelson has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Nolan Soehlig was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took for 13 points.

Creekside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Creekside is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for St. Augustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Creekside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-56 win against Tocoi Creek on the 23rd. St. Augustine has also already played their next matchup, a 57-54 loss against Oakleaf on the 23rd.
