Volleyball Recap: Kotzebue Comes Up Short

Kotzebue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Nikiski Bulldogs. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2017.

Kotzebue's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Nikiski, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3-1.

Kotzebue has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Juneau-Douglas on the 18th. As for Nikiski, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bethel on the 18th.
