After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cypress, Eisenhower was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They slipped by the Carter Lions 8-7. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Eisenhower's defense made their presence known, laying out Raymond Rubio. five times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Raydynn Togagae.

The victory got Eisenhower back to even at 2-2. As for Carter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Eisenhower will head out on the road to square off against Hesperia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carter, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Linfield Christian at 7:00 p.m.
