Basketball Recap: River Islands Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

If Millennium wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played River Islands, they should've done a better job of containing Idrees ElFarra. The River Islands Riptide breezed by the Millennium Falcons to the tune of 74-47 on Friday thanks in part to ElFarra, who went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Peter, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 12 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

River Islands is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.
