Volleyball Recap: Rossview Takes a Loss

Rossview was the 3-0 winner over Montgomery Central when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell 3-1 to the Indians on Monday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ellie Hankemeier paced Rossview's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hankemeier got some help from Rylee Tomsic and her ten assists. Hankemeier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Rossview's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Montgomery Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Rossview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against West Creek on the 23rd. As for Montgomery Central, they will challenge Creek Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
