Basketball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Marion was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Wild Rose Wildcats, falling 69-18. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Marion is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Wild Rose, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will challenge White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wild Rose, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wild Rose Wildcats face off against the Pacelli Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
