Softball Recap: Tullahoma Comes Up Short

Tullahoma made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Giles County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 on April 9th.

Tullahoma saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Norman, who went 1-for-4 with one triple. That triple was Norman's first of the season.

Tullahoma's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Giles County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tullahoma will venture away from home to take on Coffee County Central at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Giles County, they will head out to challenge Cornersville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
