Basketball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Garner extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-4. The game between the Titans and the Willow Spring Storm didn't end well, with the Titans falling 84-69. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

As for Willow Spring, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Xavion Terrell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 13-for-19 en route to 31 points and five boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Robinson, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Garner will square off against Sanderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Willow Spring, they will face off against Cary at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm will be up against the Imps' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
