Basketball Recap: Jordan Drops Highest Score of Season Against Central

Jordan extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-5. They came up short against the Central Hawks, falling 72-47. On the bright side, the 47- point effort marked the Red Jackets' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-1. They haven't had any issues with Jordan recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Central was led to victory by Brannon Bussey and Jamarion Williams. Bussey posted 24 points, while Williams earned 18 points. Bussey's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Leonard, who put up 11 points.

Looking ahead, Jordan will welcome Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Red Jackets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Central, they will challenge Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
