Glynn Academy came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Brunswick Pirates by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory on Thursday.

Glynn Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18.

Natalie Koncul paced Glynn Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Koncul got some help from Laura Beth (Elby) Baldridge and her 14 assists.

Glynn Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.

Glynn Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Valdosta on the 13th. As for Brunswick, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Camden County on the 13th.
