It was a good run, but Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Beardstown Tigers, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Lutheran's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Beardstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-3 record this season.
