Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nolan Catholic). They walked away with a 14-10 win over THESA on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with THESA recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Maddie Kapavik, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Laux, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Nolan Catholic's win bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for THESA, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Nolan Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Liberty Christian at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. The matchup will give Nolan Catholic their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
