Softball Recap: Carson Falls Short Against Ranked Reed

Carson faced Reed in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Senators lost 11-1 to the Raiders. The defeat continues a trend for the Senators in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost nine in a row.

Carson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Kuhlman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Reed, they pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Carson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Bishop Manogue on the 29th. As for Reed, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Reno on the 29th.
