Sutter put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Bullard Knights. That's more bragging rights for Sutter, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Olivia Bauer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Bauer has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Bauer was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
