Soccer Game Preview: Keller Central vs. Southlake Carroll

Keller Central is 1-8-1 against Southlake Carroll since March of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Keller Central Chargers will head out to take on the Southlake Carroll Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Keller Central fell victim to Bell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Bell by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Dragons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Southlake Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3-4. As for Keller Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10-2.
