Soccer Recap: Island Coast Comes Up Short

Island Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the North Fort Myers Red Knights an easy 13-0 victory. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Island Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for North Fort Myers, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Island Coast will be home for the holidays to greet Bonita Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Fort Myers, they will head out to face off against Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
