Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hillsboro Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Mars Hill Academy.

Hillsboro Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Hillsboro Christian Academy now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Mars Hill Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro Christian Academy will square off against CHESS Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mars Hill Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilmington Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
