Basketball Game Preview: TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers vs. Bethel Christian

The TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers will square off against Bethel Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. TEACH Homeschool comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

TEACH Homeschool is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Summit Christian Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. TEACH Homeschool had to suffer through a 62-32 loss at the hands of Summit Christian Academy. The Beach Breakers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-14.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Aiden Dickson, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Robert Wilkins, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Bethel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and Victory Christian didn't end well, with Bethel Christian falling 51-34.

TEACH Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Bethel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

TEACH Homeschool strolled past Bethel Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 55-39. Will TEACH Homeschool repeat their success, or does Bethel Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
