The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past McKeel Academy, posting a 84-21 win at home. Lake Highland Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 25 points or more this season.

Ari Woodard was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with seven assists and four steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Lexi Blue, who scored 12 points along with two steals.

The win (which was Lake Highland Prep's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-5. As for McKeel Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10.
