Basketball Recap: Fife Comes Up Short

Fife came up into this matchup off a tough 39-point defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Washington Patriots by a score of 56-53 on Wednesday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in February.

Fife's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Washington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Fife is taking a road trip to face off against Auburn Riverside at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Centralia at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Washington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
