Volleyball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

If Lyman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of New Underwood on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Highmore/Harrold Pirates by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lyman moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Highmore/Harrold, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Lyman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Sully Buttes on the 13th. As for Highmore/Harrold, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Jones County on the 13th.
