Volleyball Recap: Warren Township's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Warren Township entered their tilt with Northside on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Friday.

Brooke Murray paced Warren Township's offense, picking up six kills. Murray got some help from Lyla Christensen and her 18 assists. Christensen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Warren Township's victory bumped their record up to 13-20. As for Northside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season.

Warren Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Loyola Academy on the 20th. As for Northside, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Jones on the 20th.
