Softball Recap: Sequoia Charter Takes a Loss

Sequoia Charter lost against Paradise Valley Christian Prep last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sequoia Charter came up short against Paradise Valley Christian Prep, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Stallions have lost by exactly ten runs.

Naomi Sams spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and eight unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks.

Sequoia Charter now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Paradise Valley Christian Prep, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoia Charter will host Thunderbird Adventist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paradise Valley Christian Prep, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Ajo at 3:30 p.m.
