Basketball Recap: Center Place Takes a Loss

Center Place was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 56-39 to Training Center Christian. The Golden Eagles were down 49-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Creed Lopez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Training Center Christian, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lopez has scored at least a third of Training Center Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Bryan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Center Place's record is now 0-9. As for Training Center Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Center Place will face off against Heartland at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Training Center Christian, they will challenge Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
