Soccer Recap: Summit Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Summit Christian Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Hilldale Hornets on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Summit Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Hilldale are ranked seventh).

Summit Christian Academy now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Hilldale, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Summit Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilldale, they will face off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Hilldale's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Clinton have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
