Cedar Park and Rouse are an even 4-4-2 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Timberwolves will head out to take on the Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Cedar Park came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Leander are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Rouse came up short against Hays on Friday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Rouse have lost by exactly two goals.

Cedar Park's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2. As for Rouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Cedar Park skirted past Rouse 2-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
