Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Cardinals vs. Sam Houston Texans

The MacArthur Cardinals just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Sam Houston Texans at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur has given up an average of 60.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

MacArthur is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since January 24th on Thursday. They lost 80-55 to Crowley. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 86-53, which was the final score in Sam Houston's tilt against DeSoto on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Texans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1124th, while the Eagles are ranked 256th).

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sam Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
